Felix Protocol: Over-Collateralized Borrowing on Hyperliquid
A DeFi borrowing platform built on Liquity V2 principles, giving users capital-efficient loans with a clean, responsive Web3 UX.

Overview
Industry
DeFi/Web3
Scope
Frontend, protocol integration, dashboards, automation.
Challenges
The team wanted a borrowing experience as simple as a modern fintech app, but with the robustness of a Liquity V2-style protocol. They needed a frontend that could safely interact with on-chain contracts on Hyperliquid, surface complex positions in a friendly way, and stay fast enough for active DeFi users.
The Results
How We Built it
Designed a lean, conversion-focused UX around opening, managing, and closing troves, inspired more by modern fintech dashboards than by typical DeFi UIs.
Built the frontend with Next.js and TypeScript, using a component-driven architecture to keep the codebase maintainable as the protocol evolves.
Integrated Viem for all on-chain reads and writes to Hyperliquid, with a thin abstraction layer to avoid breaking the UI when contracts change.
Implemented reusable UI primitives (cards, tables, metrics blocks) and TailwindCSS to ship new screens quickly without redesigning everything.
