Complying with legal obligations and protecting our rights.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

Service Providers That Process Your Data
- Vercel hosts this website and processes request data such as IP addresses to serve pages.
- Our own page counter (stored in Convex) keeps daily totals of page views per page, the site or campaign link that sent the visit (for example LinkedIn or Google) and the country reported by our host. It uses no cookies and stores no IP address, device identifier or anything that identifies you. If you send the contact form, it also records where that visit first came from (for example a LinkedIn post), so we know which channels bring enquiries.
- Vercel Speed Insights measures how fast pages load for visitors (Core Web Vitals such as load time and layout stability), together with the page address, device type and browser. It uses no cookies and does not identify you.
- Convex stores contact form submissions (name, work email, company, role, company size, region, interest, where your data lives, message) and a one-way hash of your IP address used for spam and rate limiting. We do not store your IP address itself.
- Convex also stores newsletter subscriptions (email, sign-up page, consent and confirmation times, hashed IP).
- Google Workspace handles our email, including the notification we receive when you submit the contact form, our replies, and the newsletter confirmation and monthly emails.
- Google Analytics measures how the website is used.
- LinkedIn hosts our company page; its own privacy policy applies when you visit it.
Data Retention
Contact form submissions and project-related communication may be stored for up to 24 months for business purposes.
Analytics and log data may be retained for up to 14 months.
Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe; unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted after 30 days. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
If you engage our services, project data is retained in line with contractual and legal requirements.
Your Data Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction or deletion of your data.
Object to or restrict certain types of processing.
Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.
To exercise your rights, please contact us at contact@byteandrise.com.
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International Data Transfers
As we work with international clients, your data may be transferred and processed outside your country of residence. We ensure such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with the revised date.
